Chocolate Layered Dessert What Was The Name Of This Ice Cream/chocolate Dessert Sold In Grocery Stores?

What was the name of this ice cream/chocolate dessert sold in grocery stores? - chocolate layered dessert

I remember when I was younger .. than 10 years ago there was this ice dessert I LOVED .. but I do not remember the name, and do not think they are around anymore, because I can not find it. Does anyone remember the name .. It was like layers of ice cream and chocolate ice cream as a great lasagna. I think it started with a V. It is so beautiful! It came in a rectangular box. If someone say to me is the name, I will always love you .. She has listened for so long!

Thinking about Viennetta

(The following is a description from Wikipedia:)

Viennetta ice cream is a product manufactured in the factories of Unilever, and under the logos of several fire Heart sold worldwide. He led the first wall of Ice Cream Ltd, invented in 1982, with a technique by Kevin Hillman, director of development at the plant Gloucester Wall. Viennetta The original was a multi-layer composed of layers of Vanilla Ice Cream with shotcrete on "chocolate" layers. Ice is extruded, one after the other, on trays sitting on a treadmill ... the secret of this format is that the extrusion was greater than the speed of the tape that a "cluster causes" of ice, each layer is extruded at a speed different than the previous layer. The final result is like a series of waves rippling through the product. This visually interesting with the change of ice in your mouth soft cream soft cover "Chocolate" is the product became an immediate appeal. Started initialtion as a multi-part dessert was so successful that Unilever has obtained ownership of the wall many flavors and variations in size and has become a global brand Viennetta multi-million range.

I hope that helps!
